The Minor Club Championship kicks off on Wednesday July 1st.

We will be taking part in the 9-a-side championship.

Our opponents in this championship are Kiltrubid, Gortlettragh, Bornacoola, Leitrim Gaels, Aughavas, St. Caillins and St. Osnatts.

Our first game is against St. Osnatts on Wednesday next at 7pm in Glenfarne.

The Leitrim Minor team take on Roscommon on this Saturday evening in Hyde Park in the opening round of the the Connaught Minor Football Championship.

Our club is represented on the Minor panel by Dermot Harkin.

We wish Dermot and his team-mates all the best.

The game throws in at 5.45pm and we urge anyone who can to go along and support the team.

Our Under 12 team kicked off the season on Monday evening with their first games in the new Under 12 blitz competition.

Two seven-a-side selections took on two from Gortlettragh in four games played over a one hour period in Glenfarne. A very enjoyable evening was had by all.

The blitz competition is a new development which ensures that all players who turn up get a game.

The next outing for our under 12′s is next Monday evening in Kiltrubid.

Our Division 5 team travel to Aughnasheelin on Sunday afternoon for the next round of the league.

The game throws in at 2pm.

Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher’s intermediate team went down on a scoreline of the 1-13 to 1-11 to Eslin on Sunday in Glenfarne.

In a hard fought and close game Eslin secured victory with two points in the last five minutes despite going a man down following a sending off with ten minutes to go.

Our next game is away to Drumkeerin on Saturday evening next in Drumkeerin at 6.30pm.
