The club’s AGM took place on Saturday 12 December 2009 in Cullentra Centre.

A good attendance heard addresses by both outgoing Chairman Padraig McGourty and Secretary Francis White.  In their addresses both men paid tribute to the Intermediate, Junior and Under 21 teams on their performances throughout 2009.  Padraig also paid tribute to the U-14 and Minor teams who reached finals of league and championship respectively. He stated that while no silverware was won this year the respective achievements of each of these teams showed that the club had a bright future to look forward to.  He thanked the executive committee of the club for all their hard work over the year, the sponsors who had given so generously and also all those who helped the club in any way in 2009.

Dermot O’Rourke outlined the financial position of the club and thanked all those who had helped out with the various fundraising activities over the year.

Both Padraig and Dermot had indicated earlier in the year that they would be stepping down from their roles. Francis White thanked both for their service to the club.

At the election of officers Sean Clancy was elected unopposed to the position of Chairman, Eilis McGourty was elected unopposed to the position of secretary with Francis White moving to the position of Treasurer, Seamus Dolan was returned as Vice Chairman, Maura McGourty as Assistant Secretary, Micheal McLoughlin as PRO/Registrar and Padraig McGourty as IT Officer and Coaching Officer.

With no motions up for discussion the only remaining item left was the setting of membership fees for 2010. It was decided to leave the membership fees at 2009 levels for the coming year.
