Our minor team are back in action this weekend with the resumption of the Minor League.

They take on Fenagh/St Caillins on Monday at 2pm in Glenfarne.

The Leitrim minor footballers recorded their second win of the 2010 Connacht Minor League when they defeated Roscommon on Saturday evening last on a scoreline of 0-11 to 1-7.

Our club were represented by Michéal Ferguson on the team. Michéal played the full 60 minutes at wing back and put in an excellent performance.

Well done to Michéal, manager Damien Eames and the rest of the squad.

There next game takes place on Good Friday in Ballinamore at 5pm against Longford.

This weekend sees the intermediate team face Glencar/Manorhamilton in Division 2 of the league.

The game is scheduled for Glenfarne on Easter Saturday evening at 5.15pm.

We hope to see a large crowd of supporters at the game.

Our Under 14 team took on Bornacoola on Saturday morning last in the second game of the U-14 league.

The game which was played in Glenfarne ended in victory for Bornacoola on a scoreline of 4-8 to 9-6.

The next game for the Under 14′s is scheduled for Friday 9th April in Cloone at 6.30pm.

Our Intermediate team were defeated in the opening game of the 2010 Shield competition on Saturday evening last.

Having made the long journey to Annaduff they went down narrowly on a scoreline of 0-9 to 0-8.

Our Junior team recorded their first win of the 2010 Division 5 League.

In a hard fought game against Bornacoola in Dromod our lads ran out winners on a scoreline of 0-7 to 0-3.

Our under 14 team were defeated on Saturday morning last by Aughnasheelin in the opening round of the league.

They went down on a scoreline of 7-12 to 2-5.

There next game is a home game against Bornacoola on this Saturday at 12 noon in Glenfarne.

Well done to club player Michéal Ferguson who was part of the Leitrim Minor team who defeated Sligo in the opening round of the Connacht Minor League on Saturday evening last.

The games was played in Markievicz Park and finished on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-11 to Leitrim.

Michéal lined out at wing-back and scored two points.

The next game for Michéal and the Leitrim Minors is this Saturday evening in Pairc Sean McDiarmuida in Carrick-on-Shannon against Roscommon.

Our Junior Team travel to Dromod on Sunday morning to take on Bornacoola in the second round of the Division 5.

The game throws in at 11am.
