Juniors defeat Kiltubrid

Our Junior team continue their winning ways in Division 5 with a hard fought 3-9 to 1-10 victory over Kiltubrid in Glenfarne on Sunday afternoon.

In an evenly contest first half a goal from Daragh Keaney ensured we lead by 1-3 to 0-5 at half time.

A goal after half-time by a Kiltubrid team featuring former club player Kevin Keaney gave them the lead but goals from James Murray and a penalty save from goalkeeper Padraig McGourty with the follow up cleared off the line by Sean Dillon ensured victory.

This win puts the team in second place in a keenly contested league with two games remaining.

Keep an eye on fixtures to see when the team are in action again.
