Well done to Micheal Ferguson and Robbie Broughton who both started on the Leitrim Minor team in last Saturday’s Connacht Minor Championship Semi-final.
Unfortunately they were beaten by a very strong Galway team. Both lads put in good performances and should be commended for the effort they put in all year. It is a testament to the work being done at underage level in the club that we had two players in the starting line up on the day. It was a great achievement for the lads as it was we believe the first time that two players from the club both started in the same championship game for Leitrim.
Well done to both players.
Our minor team are back in action this weekend with the resumption of the Minor League.
