There has been a change to the structure of U-12 competitons for 2009.

There is a move away from competitive football at this age group with the U-12 League being replaced by a blitz competition.

The U-12 Championship will also be run this year as  competitive competition but in 2010 this is expected to become a blitz also.

The U-12 squad is currently trained by Frank McDermott with help from Conor O’Rourke and Dermot Harkin in 2008.
